Scripture Cake

Our Bible Story today was about, The Bible being food for our spirit.

"Food our belly fills; the Bible our Spirit builds."
Matthew4:4

"Man does not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."

This project I did with just John and Jacob. They took turns reading the verse for the ingredients that went into the cake.

John 4:34 "My food" said Jesus, 'is to do the will of him who sent me and finish his work."

3 cups fine flour 1 Kings 4:22

1/2 c butter Proverbs 30:33
1 c Sugar Jeremiah 6:so
1 c Honey Judges 14:8

1/2 c Milk 1 Peter 2:2
6 eggs Luke 11:12
2 c Almonds Numbers 17:8

2 c Raisins 2 Samuel 16:1
2T Baking Powder (leaven) 1 Corinthians 5:6

They had fun reading the Bible and baking, which is something they both love doing.
